Armony and balance in the nature on the shore of Bolsena Lake.
Camping Amalasunta is situated in a luxuriant vegetation area surrounded by wide shaded places where you can spend pleasant and relaxing time rocked by the sweet rustle of the nature. Thanks to our geography location, you will fully enjoy magnificent sunset on our volcanic lake. However, the Camping offers good food with local wine and pleasant evening with live music.
The proximity to the Bolsena Lake offers many possibilities of amusement: every kind of water sports, fishing, excursion on our two islands and, obviously, all the relax that you’d expected to be given from this wonderful place.
The versatility of this environment makes it suitable to fit each kind of need. During summer time there are wine and local festivals, open-air discos, free beaches, spectacles and much more.
The privileged position that our campsite takes towards the territory makes it an ideal base for excursions and a bunch of activities that goes from visiting the most important Etruscan-Roman archaeological sites to seeing villas, palaces and parks of the Italian ' 500 ; from walking along the lake or in the Monti Cimini’s tree-lined paths to having a look to the ancient medieval villages.

Our camping stretches over a large shaded area adjacent to the shores of Bolsena Lake. The beach is served by the bar, lying on your couch with a drink, you can enjoy the breathtaking views offered by this wonderful place.
One of the oldest and sophisticated civilizations whose origins are still confused between myth and legend. No one till now has been able to dispel the aura of lingering mystery over this civilization. For all those who want to engage in the resolution of the enigma, you know that the history of the Etruscans starts from here.
Never equal to themselves, with extensions of color lighted, modulated rapidly over time, it's great to witness this spectacle of nature where the sun falls straight into the lake, crashing along its edges, the midpoint of the horizon.
